Hardship Transfer
Welcome to the Hardship Transfer Application Portal
The Jefferson County Schools Hardship Transfer application for the 2026-2027 school year is open. A Hardship Transfer lets a parent or guardian request a transfer to a district school based on hardship circumstances.
You will need your student's 10-digit State ID (for current JEFCOED students). Students who are new to JEFCOED may also apply.
Enter your student's current (2025-2026) grade level. The entering (next-year) grade determines the schools you may choose. Only one application may be submitted per student.
